It's difficoult...Personally I can't associate them with no one...To understand L'Arc~en~Ciel you have to listening them^^

It's difficoult here too because all their cd and songs are very famous. Maybe the song could be "Blurry Eyes" and the cd "SMILE"

NO. HYDE's not dead-.-. It's hide that's dead, the ex-guitarist of "X-Japan". You can distinguish them also for the name's pronounce: the vocalist of L'Arc is pronounced "HAI-DO" and the ex-guitarist is pronounced "HI-DE' "
